PUBLIC NOTICE TO BIDDERS ADVERTISING THE PROJECT

Sealed bids addressed to the Honorable Mayor and City Council will be received at the Nolanville City Hall; 101 N. 5^th Street; Nolanville, Texas 76559 until 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 for the construction of the Rail Safety Improvements in the City of Nolanville, Texas.  The bids shall be labeled:

Bids must be submitted on the Bid Form provided and must be accompanied by a cashier's check, certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable without recourse to the City of Nolanville, Texas in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid submitted as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond within ten (10) days after the notification of the award of the contract.

The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Conference Room in City Hall at

2:00 P.M. on     Tuesday,  June 16          , 2026.  The City Council will officially review the bids at their next scheduled meeting and award the contract as soon thereafter as practicable after the City of Nolanville receives authorization for contract award from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).

The City of Nolanville reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids, as the best interest of the City may require, and to waive any informality in bids received.

The start date for this project will be flexible pending agreed upon date between the City, TxDOT and the qualified low bidder.

Each Bidder for this project is required to be a Texas Department of Transportation Prequalified Contractor.  Please reference Page 11 of the Bid Manual for prequalification requirements.

This project includes, but is not limited to roadway reconstruction, concrete ribbon curb installation, 8” concrete curb installation, median landscape pavers, HMAC overlay, striping, signage, SWPPP installations, temporary traffic control, etc.

Plans, specifications and bidding documents may be secured beginning Monday, May 18, 2026 at the office of Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP; 11 South 2^nd Street; Temple, TX 76501 for a non-refundable fee of $150.00 per set, checks made payable to Kasberg, Patrick & Associates, LP. (254) 773-3731.  Plans may also be downloaded at no charge via CivCast.

A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Nolanville City Hall,  101 N. 5^th Street; Nolanville, Texas 76559  at      2:00        p.m. on    Tuesday, June 2, 2026.  Although this is not a mandatory Pre-Bid Conference, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend.
