  The City of Nolanville's General Election is scheduled to be held on November 8, 2016. July 23, 2016 thru August 22, 2016, applications for Mayor, Councilmember Seat 1 and Councilmember Seat 3 will be accepted at City Hall during normal business hours.  Click here for Notice of Deadline to File for Application for Place on the Ballot.  Click here for an application.

  Candidate Qualifications

  In accordance with the standard eligibility requirements for a City Office, a Candidate must: Must be a registered and qualified voter in the City and State at the time of placing application to be on the ballot; Be a resident of the City; Have resided continuously in the corporate limits of the City for at least twelve (12) months immediately preceding the date of the election or appointment; Not be in violation of any provision in the Charter; Be 21 years of age or older on the first day of the term to be filled after the election or appointment; and Satisfy any other eligibility requirements prescribed by law for the office for which they are a candidate.

  Additional Information

  Council Members and Mayor positions serve a two year term.  Currently the Council  meets twice every month, the first and third Thursdays at 6:00PM.  Applications may be picked up at the Nolanville City Hall, 100 North Main Street, between 8:00AM and 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday beginning July 23, 2016 thru August 22, 2016.
