Boil Water Advisories FAQs
If your local water district authorities issue a boil water advisory, you should use bottled water or boil tap water because your community’s water is, or could be, contaminated with germs that can make you sick.
Advisories may include information about preparing food, beverages, or ice; dishwashing; and hygiene, such as brushing teeth and bathing.

TEXAS POWER SWITCH

Texas Power Switch Makes it Easy to Switch and Save
Nolanville residents have a choice in electric providers, however, most haven’t made a change in the past three years and are overpaying for their electricity. The Nolanville City Council recently approved an agreement to help residents better understand the complex energy market and lower their electricity bills with minimal effort.
The Texas Power Switch is a free and voluntary energy switching program that gives residents the opportunity to join together and get a lower rate on electricity by asking providers to bid on the group’s business. There is no cost to the City to let residents know this service is available, nor does the City receive any financial compensation.
A growing number of communities are partnering with the Texas Power Switch program. Waco, Copperas Cove and Farmers Branch are among other Texas cities taking advantage of a program that has helped save households hundreds of dollars a year on their electricity bills.
Participation is simple:
If you have questions about what you are currently paying or how the program works, you can attend one of several webinars where you will also have an opportunity to privately chat with members of the Texas Power Switch team. Visit https://bit.ly/TPS13Webinar to sign up.
This program is only available to residential customers. Also, households served by electric cooperatives and municipally-owned utilities are unable to participate; however, any household in a deregulated service area is invited to participate – you are not required to be a Nolanville resident.
