Nolanville, TX – Keep Nolanville Beautiful, which is committed to enhancing the community environment of Nolanville Texas announced the launch of their spring cleanup event taking place on Saturday March 4, 2023 at 10 AM. Participants are asked to meet at Nolanville City Hall, 101 N 5th Street Nolanville, TX. Keep Nolanville Beautiful invites individuals of all ages or local organizations to participate in the event and help keep Nolanville clean and beautiful.
Want to be a part of the festivities, but cannot make it out that day? Don’t worry! The City of Nolanville has you covered! Take home trash collection kits, which include trash bags, grabbers, and gloves, will be available for pick-up starting two weeks before the event.
“Last year’s spring clean-up resulted in over five truckloads of litter being picked up off Warriors Path,” said Keep Nolanville Beautiful Coordinator Jennifer Shidler. “We had so many volunteers and because of that, we really got a lot accomplished and are hoping to do that again this year!”
Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup (GAC) is part of a nationwide effort that takes place in more than 20,000 communities each spring. Keep Texas Beautiful encourages Texans to participate in the event, which runs from March 1 through May 31, and mobilizes thousands of Texans to improve the beauty and health of their community. Activities can include beautifying parks and recreation areas, cleaning waterways, handling recycling collections, picking up litter, removing graffiti, planting trees, and conducting educational programs and litter-free events.
