The City of Nolanville is excited to announce the addition of their newest officer, Edward Carr, to their Police Force. 

Officer Carr, who is a recent graduate of the Central Texas College Police Academy, completed the Basic Peace Officer course earlier this year. The course, which is a 40 hour a week for 22 weeks program, allowed Officer Carr to train in a variety of different areas such as defense tactics, martial arts, firearms, driving as well as a whole host of academic topics that ranged from the penal code, code of criminal procedure, multiculturalism, and de-escalation. 

At a recent Nolanville City Council Meeting, The Mayor of Nolanville, Andy Williams, and Police Chief, Michael Hatton, had the honor of officially swearing in Officer Car as one of Nolanville’s very own. 

Officer Carr, who has been on duty for 5 months, says he is glad to be here. 

“My experience has been different than expected, but in a good way,” said Officer Carr. “I am constantly learning something new; every day is different!”
