During the October 20, 2022, Nolanville City Council Meeting, Mayor-Pro Tem Patrick Ramsdell presented local Nolanville business, Let Us Do The Cooking with the Spirit of Nolanville award. This award is presented to those in the community who demonstrate acts of going above and beyond for the Nolanville Community and those surrounding us. 

The nomination of "Let Us Do The Cooking" came to City staff from Lauretta Lewis-Matthews, Director of Community Connection Outreach. Through her organization's efforts, Ms. Matthews works tirelessly to help those homeless in Bell County, and Let Us Do The Cooking has been right there with her providing almost 1,500 warm meals to those in need over the last two years.

The City of Nolanville again gives its deepest thanks to Let Us Do The Cooking. Your commitment and compassion showed to the communities we serve and those surrounding us go a long way toward helping those in need and demonstrate your care and dedication to the community. Thank you for adding to the many reasons why Nolanville continues to be a "Great Place To Live."
