NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF NOLANVILLE

TCEQ SECTION 319 GRANT

NON POINT SOURCE PROGRAM  APPLICATION 

The City of Nolanville will hold a Public Hearing to receive citizen comments regarding proposed TCEQ Section 319 Grant Program funding application to be submitted to the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality.  The public hearing will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 6:00 PM at City Council Chambers, located at 101 North Fifth Street, Nolanville, Texas.

The City encourages citizens to express their views at this public hearing.  regarding the quality of water in creeks and drainage areas within the City of Nolanville and activities that could reduce the amounts of nonpoint pollution of public waterways.  Citizens will also receive a presentation of an overview of the 319 Grant Program from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality that provides grant funding to develop Best Management Practices for construction that will reduce Nonpoint Source pollution.

Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to Kara Escajeda, City Manager, 101 North Fifth Street,  Nolanville, TX 76559.  The 15-day public comment period ends on
Friday July 1, 2022.  Comments may also be submitted to the City’s website:

Persons with disabilities that wish to attend this meeting should contact City Hall to arrange for assistance.  Individuals who require a translator, auxiliary aids or services for this meeting should contact the Assistant City Manager/ City Secretary by calling 254-698-6335, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 AM noon or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.  Citizens requiring assistance must make contact at least two (2)  days before the meeting so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
